    I had an 8 AM appointment and dropped the car off the night before. The door on the service station states they close at 2 PM on the door, so I arrive to pickup my vehicle at 1:30. The customer service guy let me know my car was not yet ready and it would take another 30 - 45 minutes. This was only for an oil change. It was clear that my car was either forgotten about or they pushed it to the end of the day. That is unacceptable for an 8 AM appointment and they did not call or text to ask me what time I needed to pick it up on Saturday. The last minute rush to get my car ready does not inspire confidence that everything was done either. If you are going to open up the service shop for drop-ins, then at least make sure people who made appointments get their cars back timely. Between this clear mismanagement of time and management of tasks in the shop, plus the adding fee to use credit or debit cards, my husband was so disappointed that he does not want me to bring our car back here for service. I am open to giving it one more try. The customer service guy was kind, professional, and apologetic. He also made sure I got a discount on the service. While that is nice, it does not fix the fact that my car should have been ready and caused us to miss out on important plans for that day.

    The service appointment was completed in a timely manner and the team members were very accommodating and took care to help me understand the diagnostic check afterward.

    I scheduled a 70k maintenance for my Tiguan online. I'm right below the 70K mark. I called VW in advance to ask if I could have rain guards added during the same appointment to maximize timing. The service person I spoke so checked inventory and said there were no VW guards available to order - but if I provided the rainguards they could put them on for me. He said it would be about $100. I purchased the appropriate guards and brought with me to the appointment. The service folks were very nice and I set up to work from the VW waiting area. Not long after I arrived my service person came out to tell me the price would be lower for my service because he said I only needed an oil change and tire rotation. That was a nice update. He returned not long after to let me know since I supplied my own rainguards that those would cost me at least $200 ($100 more than what I was quoted over the phone) and they wouldn't be able to guarantee they wouldn't be noisy. I might have a lot of "air noise." I told him about the conversation I had with the VW service person the week before and communicated that I purchased the rainguards he suggested from amazon - he asked who it was. (I called and talked to the service department, I didn't take notes on who I was connected with. Didn't know I would have to prove the conversation happened a week later.) Regardless the price wasn't going to change and it sounded like the rainguards were a bad deal if they were going to cost more to put on my car and cause all this noise. Listen, all I wanted was rainguards to be added and I tried to order them directly from VW. VW told me to order them from Amazon. So I had a lot of confusion around that. Otherwise the timing of the oil change and tire rotation was quick - maybe an hour in to out time. The service person was kind to me and answered any further questions I had about future services.

    The staff was friendly and kept me informed, and went through the inspection report as well.
