This was the 30k mile service for my VW Taos. During the 20k mile service, I was told that on the next visit they would claim warranty on my rear brake pads due to premature wear, at no cost to me.
During this visit, I was informed that this was no longer applicable because I should have brought it in before 24k miles for the warranty to apply. This was not explained to me previously, and I ended up spending $700.
The second issue is that right after leaving the dealership, the undercarriage cover for the engine fell off on the highway, indicating it wasn't installed properly. I had to fix this on my own as I was out of town. When I informed the dealership, there was no explanation provided, just a request to bring it to the service to "check"
Finally for this service I waited 4 or 5 hours
